BOOK
ADDICT
Books is the center of my life..
From
the time I had some collection in my childhood, books has never fail to fascinate
me..
The
books continued to drag me to childhood fantasies. The elf and fairy story at
favorite magazine, Enid Blyton books, Grimms Fairytales, Tom Sawyer, etc. Then eventualy
I started reading Sidney Sheldon, Dan Brown, Harry Potter, Twilight Saga, even
Fifty Shades Trilogy in my adulthood.

I
value books very much. I value more of old books, picture books and others. I
used to hang out at Used Books Stall at local book market, usually Palasari or
Dewi Sartika Street. I spent hours just hunting for old children books, novels
that already rare, and felt satisfied when I got some good collection with very
affordable price.
I
regularly visits Books Fair held periodicaly at my town, and I have regular
visits to local bookstore or discount bookstore to hunt some more collection.

I
bring book everywhere. I read it anywhere, anytime. I read it while I’m on line
waiting at the ATM, at Malls, at motorcycle or public transportation when going
to work, even I listen to audio books while I work.. J. So there’s no
day without a book for me.
Books
inspire me a lot. It soothes me when I am in a bad mood. It delights me when I’m
in a good state. I begin to write also, start from my junior high special diary
to many articles for work and my personal blog.
And
now, my three daughters are starting to like books too. I connect them to it.
They kind also have their own book collection. My youngest daughter who still
in first grade has started to read ‘Sapphire Battersea’, children book wrote by
Jacqueline Wilson, reaching page 83 by now.

So,
that’s my story about my relationship with books. Unlike other relationship, I
thinks it will last forever. For I understand and value the books, and the
books understand and value me back.. J
